Grieg himself was his first transcriber - he was used to arrange lots of his orchestral works for piano and vice versa. A tradition starting with Mendelssohns „Lieder ohne Worte" and lasting until today.
Harry-Kinross White was for many years member of the Raschèr saxophone quartet. He is performing also on M 56836 and M 56843. Until now this very successful recording was available for full price (order no. M 56851, now deleted) and now changes into the midprice series.
